New LASR Classic customers have reached out to us about problems they are experiencing claiming their new licenses for both LASR Classic and Plug-Ins.
After Thanksgiving, we began migrating to a new environment to serve the community and develop new features on LASR Classic and LASR X. In some cases, it changed how our back-office system communicates with our license servers.
Our Team is aware of this issue and is working on getting fully running again. Unfortunately, this means users temporarily will not be able to claim new licenses, and existing users will not connect to LASR Community. We do not expect the issue to last long, but we do not have the exact time frame to provide folks yet.
Once service is restored, we will post it on here and on the LASR Classic Forum. Again, we appreciate your patience as we move into a new environment to serve your training needs better.
I agree with the point about training. I found that it’s not just about buying a good piece of software; you have to change the way the whole team works around it. One thing I would also mention is that it's okay to start small. You don’t have to overhaul everything all at once. Look for tools that integrate with your current systems first and gradually scale. That way, you minimize disruption and can adjust as you go. Lastly, always ask for feedback from your employees who will be using these solutions daily. They’re the ones who’ll give you the real insight on whether the software is effective or just adding unnecessary complexity. I think that there may be a lot of good solutions https://redresscompliance.com/best-software-solutions-for-customer-service-and-businesses/ if you search for them
I’ve definitely been there. It’s easy to get excited about new software, especially when you see all the flashy features and promising capabilities. The real question is whether they align with the specific needs of your company. I’d say the first step is to clearly define what problems you’re trying to solve. Are you looking for better customer relationship management, or do you need something more focused on efficiency? Once you have that clarity, it’ll be easier to assess if a solution is worth implementing. Also, don’t underestimate how crucial it is to train your team on any new system you choose. Even the best software won’t help much if your employees don’t use it properly.
I’ve been wondering about how to improve my company’s workflow. We've been using some basic software, but it’s clear that the demands of the business have evolved, and our current solutions are just not cutting it anymore. I'm considering implementing some new, more advanced software that could potentially streamline our processes and improve customer experience. Has anyone here been in a similar position? How do you know if the solutions you're considering will truly add value to your operations, or if they’re just fancy tools that don't really fit?
