I’ve had my Eureka vacuum for a couple of years now, and lately it feels like it’s not picking up as well as it used to. I clean the filter every so often, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing some basic upkeep that would keep it running like new. I’d rather do a bit of maintenance myself than spend money on repairs or buy a new one if I can help it. Any advice?

I had the same problem with mine and found out there are a few extra things worth checking. Besides cleaning the filter, make sure the hose and brush roll aren’t clogged — I once pulled out a huge wad of hair that was slowing mine down. I found a full maintenance guide for my model on https://manuals.online/eureka that walked me through step-by-step cleaning, belt checks, and even replacing small parts. Made a big difference in suction.
